The MK-170BD Antistress disk-type wood chipper is designed for processing and utilization by chopping branches, laths, blades, lamellas and other wood waste. The chipper turns the raw material into technological chips. Up to 90% of the obtained chips will be 5...60 mm in size, 10% free size, when shredding thin branches it is possible to increase or decrease the fraction. The size of the chips is not adjustable and mainly depends on the type of feed material. The MK-170BD Antistress wood chipper is capable of chopping branches up to 17 cm in diameter, depending on the moisture content and species of wood. The resulting wood chips can be used for heating in solid fuel and pyrolysis boilers with screw feeding, fireplaces, stoves and other heating devices. Also wood chips can be used as mulching material for plants or fertilizer. In case of further processing of wood chips it is possible to obtain fuel pellets or pellets.
The chipper is equipped with the Antistress system. The system monitors the rotation speed of the cutting disk and based on this indicator, independently controls and regulates the feed of raw material. That is, when feeding thick raw material, the chipper spends a lot of effort to chop the branch, the engine speed begins to drop, the chipper realizes this, turns on reverse and feeds the branch back, the engine speed is restored and the chipper feeds the branch forward to the cutting disk again.
The operator only needs to bring the branch to the hopper and feed it to the roller. The technology can practically think for itself. This increases productivity, because the automation knows the right moment to feed the branch to the cutting mechanism. In a chipper without anti-stress, the operator relies on his sensations, which can be false.
The working body of the chipper MK-170BD is a disk on which four knives are placed, on the opposite side of the disk there are blades, which create the necessary air pressure in order to feed the chips through the discharge socket. The knives of the chip cutter are made of steel 6ХВ2С and are made in the form of a disk, which significantly extends their service life, this form of knives allows you to wear out one edge to turn the knife and work further sharp side. In addition, this shape of knives improves the tightening of the branch. It is mandatory that the knives are heat-treated on a modern HFC machine. To feed raw materials to the cutting mechanism MK-170BD Antistress is equipped with drums working from the hydraulic system of the wood chipper.
The MK-170BD wood chipper is equipped with a two-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, V-Twin gasoline engine. The engine brand depends on the delivery. Possible variants are Lifan, Loncin. All engines are identical in power and characteristics, they are tested and reliable. These engines are among the highest quality in Ukraine, service centers are located in each region. Motors are protected from overloads by a special friction clutch of our development. The engines have a separate warranty from the manufacturer for 12 months.
The wood chipper is equipped with an unloading socket which allows to change the direction of chip flow in two planes and rotates 360˚.
The inlet hopper is equipped with a transparent PVC curtain to protect the operator from chips during operation. The top of the hopper is equipped with a tube for quick access to documentation and tool storage. During transportation and storage, the hopper is closed with a lid to reduce the size of the equipment. There is a safety handle on the lid, if you press it, the wood chipper will stop feeding raw material to the cutting mechanism.
