Подрібнювач деревини перетворює сировину на технологічну тріску. До 90% отриманої тріски матиме розмір 5...50 мм, 10% - вільний розмір, при подрібненні тонких гілок можливе збільшення або зменшення фракції. Розмір тріски не регламентується і в основному залежить від типу вихідного матеріалу. Подрібнювач МБ-60БД здатний різати гілки діаметром до 6 см, залежно від вологості та породи деревини.
