The AM-120BD PRO wood chipper is designed for processing and recycling branches, rails, slats, and other wooden waste through a chipping method. The wood chipper transforms the raw material into pieces ranging from 9 to 18 cm in length. This size is not adjustable and depends on the diameter (thickness) of the raw material. The AM-120BD PRO wood chipper is capable of chipping branches with a diameter of up to 12 cm, depending on the moisture content and wood species. The chipped branches are ideal fuel for pyrolytic and solid fuel boilers, stoves, furnaces, and other heating devices, as well as for the production of charcoal.
The productivity of the AM-120BD PRO wood chipper reaches a maximum of 10 cubic meters of finished product per hour of operation. Productivity is directly dependent on the quality of raw material preparation and the number of personnel involved in the process.
The AM-120BD PRO wood chipper is equipped with a 20 HP gasoline engine with a fuel consumption of only 1600 grams per hour of gasoline. The engine brand depends on the supply, with possible options being WEIMA, Lifan, and Loncin. All engines have the same power and specifications, are tested, and reliable. These engines are among the highest quality available in Ukraine, with service centers located in each region. The engines are protected against overloads by a specially designed friction clutch developed by our company. There is a separate 12-month manufacturer's warranty for the engines.
The cutting element of the wood chipper consists of blades. The AM-120BD PRO wood chipper is equipped with 6 blades made of 40X steel, with a double beveled edge. The blades and other parts of the wood chipper undergo mandatory heat treatment on a modern TVCH installation.
The blades of the wood chipper are inserted into a milled groove on the working shaft, and this technology significantly reduces the load on the bolts that secure the blades.
The AM-120BD PRO wood chipper is equipped with a hopper capable of packaging the finished product in mesh bags. The unloading hopper has two fasteners for mesh bags and a shutter switch that allows you to select the desired direction for packaging. This design significantly speeds up the process of packaging chipped wood, and standard mesh bags with dimensions of 50x80 cm are suitable. Additionally, you can order a configuration with a straight output hopper for unloading chipped branches in bulk.
The input hopper is equipped with a curtain made of transparent PVC material to protect the operator from splinters during operation. The AM-120BD wood chipper is equipped with a special safety handle located at the edge of the input hopper, which serves for emergency shutdown of the wood chipper during operation. You can also order a configuration without the safety handle.
All components of the wood chipper are mounted on a frame. The frame of the AM-120BD PRO wood chipper is a versatile hitch and mobile device. The frame's base is made of rigid, thick-walled 60x60 tubing with a wall thickness of 4mm. A professional certified wheel hub axle of German manufacture by ALKO is attached to the frame's base. The axle is equipped with two torsions designed to enhance driving safety. The maximum load capacity of the axle is 750 kg. Two wheel hubs, also manufactured by ALKO, are attached to the axle. These hubs hold two wheels with a size of 165R13C, where the "C" index indicates that the tire is reinforced and suitable for heavy-duty use. The wheels are enclosed with fenders from the German manufacturer Knott. Reflectors are mounted on the front and rear of the fenders for safety while driving.
At the rear of the frame, there is a universal hitch device equipped with a ball coupling that allows you to attach various trailers to the frame, including both regular hitches and car hitches. The hitch device is extended to increase the trailer's turning radius.
At the front of the frame, there is a drawbar, also made of 60x60 tubing with a 4mm wall thickness and reinforcement at attachment points to prevent damage to fastening holes during operation. Two anti-roll bars by ALKO are attached to the drawbar, designed to prevent the wood chipper from unintentional movement on inclined, slippery, or wet surfaces, as well as to prevent the front or rear part of the wood chipper from lifting. They feature a special quick-release attachment for convenience. A pivotable support stand by ALKO is mounted on the drawbar, allowing the wood chipper to be securely fixed in a working position on any surface. It can withstand loads of up to 500 kg, has angle and height adjustment, and is equipped with an adaptive support. Using the support stand is mandatory because the support wheel, located at the end of the drawbar, lacks the necessary rigidity to effectively secure the wood chipper in place. We use a Winterhoff support wheel of German manufacture, which is attached to the drawbar using a special bracket. The support wheel allows for easy movement of the wood chipper across the terrain. It has a height adjustment system and can be locked in a transport position.
At the end of the drawbar, there is a lockable hitch device of Polish manufacture for a standard ball (or apple) coupling. The hitch device has two positions, open and closed. To detach or attach the hitch device, you need to lift the handle upwards, and the coupling automatically locks when placed on the towbar, with the handle assuming a horizontal position. Additionally, a safety chain is located here to prevent accidental detachment of the wood chipper from the towbar. All tube ends of the wood chipper frame are covered with special plugs to prevent moisture ingress.
With this wood chipper, you can travel on public roads at speeds not exceeding 50 km/h in accordance with the rules set out in sections 12.7 and 23.6. Such a design of the wood chipper allows for much more efficient and convenient movement across various terrains and surfaces. It eliminates the need for additional transport for transporting the trailer under branches and significantly speeds up the chipping process.
The AM-120BD PRO wood chipper is entirely manufactured at our production facility. We control the quality of all stages of our production, and all mating surfaces undergo mandatory grinding. Weld seams undergo quality control.
Before painting, all structures undergo preparation. The wood chipper is coated with powder paint, significantly extending the service life of the wood chipper's components.
